Writing a letter to express satisfaction (or dissatisfaction). (Viết một bức thư bày tỏ sự hài lòng (hoặc không hài lòng).)

Task 1. Work with a partner. Imagine that you have been using some of the services provided by Thanh Ba Post Office (you have learnt about this post office in Reading section). Discuss the things that may make you satisfied (or dissatisfied) with the services there. The ideas below might be useful to you. (Làm việc với một bạn cùng học. Hãy tưởng tượng rằng bạn đã được sử dụng một số dịch vụ Bưu điện Thanh Ba cung cấp (bạn đã học về bưu điện này trong phần Reading). Thảo luận về những điều mà có thể làm cho bạn hài lòng (không hài lòng) với các dịch vụ có. Những ý tưởng dưới đây có thể có ích cho hạn.)

- The opening hours of the post office - too late/too early... 

- The quality of the equipment - good/bad/poor quality/needs repairing...

- The security conditions of the post office - good poor security condition/ no one to keep motorcycles or bicycles/pickpockets... 

- The attitude of the staff - polite/helpful/rude/arrogant

- The prices of the services - low/high/reasonable...

- The punctuality of delivery of letters and newspapers - always/never punctual/ sometimes late/ letters and newspapers are lost...

Answer

-  The opening hours of the post office:

It is too early when closing at 9 p.m. It would be much better if the post office opened until 11 p.m so that customers can have access to the services.

-  The quality of the equipment:

Thanh Ba Post Office is a well-equipped and reliable address for the postal and telecommunication needs.

-  The security conditions of the post office:

The parking area of Thanh Ba Post Office is not a good and security place/ Although the parking area is large, it has no security-guards.

-  The attitude of the staff:

The staff are always helpful and polite to the customers.

Task 2. After a year in the job, the director of Thanh Ba Post Office has invited residents in the neighborhood to write letters to him describing the quality of the services they have received. Write such a letter, using the ideas you discussed in he Task I. (Sau một năm hoạt động, Giám đốc Bưu điện Thanh Ba đã mời cư dân trong khu phố viết thư cho ông ấy mô tả chất lượng của các dịch vụ mà họ đã nhận được. i've been using the services provided by Thanh Ba Post Office for years and I am writing in response to your call for customers to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction towards the post offices services.

Like other customers. I find your post office a well-equipped and reliable address for our postal and telecommunication needs. I am impressed by your spacious place for transaction...

I know that making everyone satisfied is hard work and sometimes seems impossible. What you and your staff have done so far for the development of the post office is encouraging and this letter is written in the hope that your post office will be a better place.

1 have been using the services provided by Thanh Ba Post Office for years and I am in response to your call for customers to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction towards the post office services. Like many other customers, I find your post office a well equipped and reliable address.

Firstly, I’m impressed by your spacious place for transaction, the seats are clean. Nine telephone boxes are always available so customers do not have to wait to make their call. More interestingly. I am satisfied with the price of the services. Although the packing area is large, it has no security guards and I sometimes feel insecure when leaving my motorbike there.

And the last point I would like to comment on is the opening hours of the post office. I think it would be better if the post office opens until 11 p.m so that customers can have more access to your services. I know that you and your staff have done so far for the developmem of the post office

This letter is written in the hope that your post office will be a better place.

I have been using the serrvices provided by Thanh Ba Post Office for years and I am writing in response to your call for customers to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction towards the post office's services.

Like any other customers. I find your post office a well-equipped and reliable address for our postal and telecommunication needs. I am impressed by your spacious place for transaction. The seats in the lobby are pretty and always clean. The fax machines are always in good working condition and my colleagues in Ho Chi Minh City have no complaints about the quality of the documents I send them.

However, there are some minor drawbacks that need mentioning here. Although the parking area is large, it has no security guards and sometimes feel insecure when leaving my motorcycle there. Moreover, it would be much better if the post office opens until 11 p.m so that customers can have more access to your services.

I know that making everyone satisfied is a hard work and sometimes seems impossible. What you and your staff have done so far for the development of the post office is encouraging and this letter is written in the hope that your post office will be a better place.
